2018 Jeep Cherokee Trim Level

From Shopping Malls to Off-Road Trials the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Remains the Ultimate Crossover SUV
2018 Jeep Cherokee

In 1984 Jeep created the Crossover SUV category with the introduction of the XJ series Cherokee. Over the past 34 years Jeep has continually refined the Cherokee, adding comfort, convenience, and safety features but never losing sight that any vehicle that carries the Jeep name must feature class-leading off road capabilities. The ultimate expression of that philosophy to date is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee.

To meet a broad range of customer needs and provide the highest levels of customization to buyers, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is available in five separate and distinction models with a variety of engine, drivetrain, and interior options.

Rather than list each model we here at Caledon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram have broken down the major component systems of the Cherokee, explain the differences, and then provide a summary of which models offer that feature. This should allow you to better determine the 2019 Jeep Cherokee that best meets your requirements.

Customers have a choice of three engines in the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, including one new high technology powerplant. The two existing engines are the fuel efficient 2.4 L PZEV MultiAir Tigershark I-4 engine that produces 180 horsepower and 170 lb.-ft. of torque. The other is Canada's favorite engine, based on sales, the 3.2 L Pentastar 24-valve V6 engine that produces 271 horsepower and 239 lb.-ft. of torque. New for 2018 is the 2.0 L twin scroll turbocharged direct injection inline four-cylinder engine which is rated at 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. and provides outstanding fuel economy, low emissions, quicker 0-100 km/h launch performance, and enhanced drivability.

The 2.4 L Tigershark engine is standard on the Latitude, Latitude Plus, and Limited models are standard equipment. The 3.2 L Pentastar V6 is standard equipment on the Trailhawk, Trailhawk Elite, and Overland models. The 3.2 L Pentastar is an extra cost option on those models with the Tigershark engine as standard. The new 2.0 L twin-scroll turbocharged engine is optional on all models.
